About Us

We are a small, friendly, tutored chamber orchestra for amateur string players
meeting on Monday evenings in Mile End, East London.

Our tutors/conductors are busy professional musicians whose teaching styles are inspirational, not to mention entertaining. We are lucky to have secured their services and the term dates (NB not necessarily every Monday) are fitted around their availability.

Organisation
We are a non-profit, voluntary led organisation, set up and run by Jenny Lloyd and Jenny Thornley. Jenny Lloyd is responsible for membership and the website. Jenny Thornley is responsible for the repertoire which is chosen in consultation with Jenny Lloyd and tutors. Ideas are always welcome from members of the ensemble.
